I have been playing Soldat for a long time now, and just today, i thought that making some custom weapons might be fun. I have the Hardwar: Tactics mod (amazing mod btw) and I'm using it as a guide basically. So just for fun, I wanted to make a powerful weapon for starters, and then make more realistic ones as i get more experienced. (hopefully, i will
) I am using the STA-200 Viper, which was the kick @$$ rapid fire rocket launcher
, as a slight comparison. So i have made 2 pictures of my weapon, the forward normal facing one, and the flipped one. (I hope I'm doing this correctly.) Then, i noticed a .WIF file. What the heck is a .WIF file?! I searched the net; no results whatsoever. Hehe, i went to a site which stated, "All file extensions in the world".... I didnt find what i was looking for...K, back on topic.
This is as far as I got; just the 2 pictures. If someone could please tell me what a .WIF file is and what it does, and how to make/edit one... i would be gratefull!!
I also noticed a .WPN file too... I'm guessing this is something to do with "weapon," suggested by the name. If someone could tell me what this does too, and how to make/edit one, i would be happier
So uh.. sorry for writing the... "essay," but i had some questions...what can i say!
I may have need for more assistance as I go along, but I'll be trying as hard as i can.
So please, could I receive some help?
