Dawn of the Dead zombies would own all your plans.
I hope you don't mean the 2004 movie... because that was a remake...

It doesn't matter which movie, seeing as the zombies were as intelligent as their former selfs were in both movies.
Go watch the original DoTD and see if the zombies really were intelligent.

Redneck Zombies
Just too "B" for my taste...fatal flaw of the horror genre is clinging to the "B-ness."

B-movies are a category of themself, it does not discriminate from genre. A good zombie movie is a nice gory B-movie. That isn't to say there are good zombies movies that aren't B, but harder to come by.

Well see I like well-produced movies, I can take bad acting, but horrid acting(like in Redneck Zombies) and terrible scripts all for a few minutes of gore out of a 2 hour movie... I just can't take it

Wait... is Shaun Of The Dead a class III or Class II outbreak? Or class IV?       :O

That was funny with the first girl zombie Shaun pushed her on the pipe, his face was priceless.

TBC good zombie movies don't take themselves to seriously, you can spy jokes here and there. Shaun of the Dead just played that card. Also don't compare Shaun to Scary movie, Simon Pegg is a very smart and creative person... look at Spaced or his newer movie Hot Fuzz coming out. Also Romero isn't a fan of the people that wrote Scary Movie... or invite them to the set of Land of the Dead to be zombies in that movie.

Also IDante, there are plenty of good movies out there. Go to your local renal shop and just rent away.

Also TBC if you want to see a real fail in comedy zombie films watch Dead and Breakfast.

Yea but the Dead series is horrid acting and pretty bad in itself. The acting is what makes it half the fun.

The acting in the dead series isn't horrid, yeah its bad but nothing that will take you out of the movie like in Electric Zombie.

Then again... acting from the 60s to 80s isn't anything to brag about to begin with...

Bad acting is what makes lots of zombie movies, its what is half of the entertainment. Of course, its not all I look for in a zombie movie, sometimes I like a serious well-made one, but I usually go for the B. Almost all movies I go for are B though.

Dead series did take me out of the actual movie, but thats fine. I laughed most of the time watching them.

^ So you have had advanced training and 20 years of army/hunting experience then?

...wtf are you on about? i just find it funny how most of the people here think they'd find and use guns so easily

take me for example: i've used guns before, i know how to aim load and shoot them, but then again i've only played with an air rifle, a bolt action .22 rifle and a double barreled clay pigeon shotgun... i doubt i'd easily use a semiautomatic pistol/12 gauge shotgun effectively

I used a Webley revolver before, therefore I'll have no problem firing an AK47 fully automatic into a crowd of zombies. All head shots.

I would... realise I'm dreaming. Then, I would wonder why I dream about zombies, since I never watch zombie movies and never play zombie games or anything...
