i dunno, I think the AK was overpowered in the current ballance and even if it is taken down a bit it wont make much of a diff.
It isn't underpowered. It's still accurate, hits `hard', has big clip ... it's good weapon
Where do you get the values 5.4, 6; 8.5, 8.57 from?Anyhoo... Ak deals the least damage over time at zero range, but it's by far the most accurate auto. Say on an open map like Run you'd generally find more use in a 40-clip where relatively few bullets stray off target compared to missing a lot more with a 30-clip steyr, especially if you're fighting multiple enemies at once.

But in maps like Dropdown, Death, and partly Laos and Voland, AUG beats AK, exceptions are still prossible tho.And the those values are how many bullets does the weapon fire per second. 1/(fireinterval/60)
Well, I only play long slow maps, on small ones I will switch to mp5 and rush. My main complaint about steyr is that it is inaccurate, with ak from a distance I will gladly own any steyr taker-oner. (Bunker)
woah......I am talking about the experimental balance. The AK is losing a lot there. All I wanna say is that the AK needs more effectiveness not less.... >_> <_<
