I like the wood thing.
The number of nades looks nice on wood.
Having it tiny and on top would be hard to get used to.
It not being transparent isn't really an issue as it takes up so little space.
You shouldn't bundle your minigame with the interface, it will cause it to take longer time to load, which will be annoying for anyone who just wants the interface.
I give you 7/10.
