well well , I remember you from soldatmods.tk. Good ol' times, you were always arguing with others about your resized weapons. Hahah anyway I've downloaded it some time ago and I can tell that you improved it alot since the first couple of versions. Good job and keep it up!

ps you could change the arnie graphic to that action man guy on the soldat home page banner. Would bring some good laughs IMHO

I'm not sure WHY that didnt make the final cut... You could drop one in there yourself easily enough tho!
Regards installing it over the original, I think it will simply drop any un-referenced weapons from the older version.

Hehe, I remember when other modders gave you a hard time about skewing pics, and calling that modding. Funny actually, coz I remember you said something that made them shut up. *goes and looks into archives*

Problem...

The weapons won't change back to their originals! And they look the same way on the Internet as they do in single player!

Oh, and what he means is that all the weapons look the same color. Light grey.

Or is it white....

It's not as bad as yesterday, but the colors just arent as strong as they are in the bmp files.

You are looking at MJ12's ATW mod (a mod that has changed my original gfx with hand drawn gfx) so the colours and lightness etc are nothing to do with Hardwar:TACTICS v2007.

You will need to uninstall his mod (and or) overwrite it by re-installing Hardwar:TACTICS v2007 over its self!

The S&W 500 is probably just a typo in the S&W500.WPN file... easily fixed!
open it in notepad and change the value from 6 to 5.

EDIT: The MR 500 already has the 5 round setting and the S&W Magnum 44 HAS 6 rounds! -there is no S&W 500 in Hardwar: TACTICS 2007, sorry.

Things like this are very difficult to spot when there are so many weapons, stats, info's and other things to cover in the entire project.
I don't think it is possible to guarantee any bug proof software, so feel free to modify it back over!
After all, the purpose of Hardwar:TACTICS is to make adding more weapons and editing weapons easier!

I have placed it in HERE, because it is an application. (-duh!)
I also chose to put it here because people who are thinkers and are interested in VB programming will appreciate the application for what it is.

I am uploading a newer version of the exe file (fixed music + gfx loop bug) plus included my gostek (from earlier version HWK 5.5), Hardwar interface and a whole bunch of bots that were also in earlier versions of HWK but were somehow left out of TACTICS!

yep, I quite enjoy the laughs too! -they outweigh the bad stuff by far.

I have just downloaded and updated Soldat to 1.4
I have not had time yet to look into it deeply, tho I have heard that the STUPID FRIKIN "recoil" in the so-called "realistic" mode has been addressed.
(about frikin time! -the last time I fired the Austeyr in full auto mode, my point of aim did not end up frikin skywards!!!)

So I am planning to re-furbish Hardwar:TACTICS to be compatible and take advantage of the current bug fixes for v1.4

OK, I found some RAR software and unpacked the mod, but it says something about a missing or invalid component when I try to run it.

You need to find that missing file/s on the net and install them (or place em in the c:\windows\system AND-OR c:\windows\system32 folders.

Most people have their system updated either by windows updates OR by other game installs that REQUIRE these common group of files (they do vary enough for me to type all this waffle, and still save effort, but not type a full list of the files that I'm actually waffling about)

Take note of the error and search out the file!
If you are still stuck, post the "missing" file name here so I can see what the error is!

It's component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies. I, of course, have no frikkin idea what the heck it's talking about.
