I wonder, if there is a free-server-renting page... If someone knows that kind of thing, please answer in this topic...

If there is no such thing like free server (except making my computer a server...) please, tell me if there are pay-by-SMS renting services... But - not only from USA and/or UK - I wonder if there is pay-by-SMS server, that I could rent even from Albania...

No... I've heard about paying by SMS method... Like, you send SMS with "code" and you rent a server for e.g. month... sending SMS IS payment method... I am just looking for a server to rent in this way because I don't have credit card or sth...

I don't know much on how things like this get set-up...

...What would need to be done to get sms transactions through to server owners?
(Because there are many more willing customers who have access to a mobile than a credit card)

I suspect it is through an agreement between the cell carrier and the server rental business

I used to do that via SMS/Phone, but the carrier always take around $2/$3 fee's out of it so its not worth it... As far as "free" renting goes, you can temporarily "book" one of my servers at this page:

It is really limited, maximum uptime is 1 hour, has to be passworded etc etc. But hey, its free.

EnEsCe... you mentioned about that server renting (by SMS) in one of your posts. You said, that it was expensive, but anyways I want to know where did U rent it :)

If you forgot about it or whatever else I think that I should seriously think about renting server (you have one of the cheapest and never-crashing servers ;) ).

Daimarus: I used Allopass to accept SMS/Phone payments, but I chose not to continue with them because their fee's for it were around the $5 mark, and considering most orders are $6/$7 it wasn't worth the hassle.
