Arsenal, final version.
« on: March 06, 2007, 01:21:17 pm »
I'm back.

Here's the final version of my since-old-times-mod Arsenal!

http://www.badongo.com/pic/491805

Features online-compatible modifications for pretty much all weapons and their interface counterparts, a text-file to make it all match, along with a hefty dose of new sounds and a new explosion. Constructive criticism, as always, appreciated.

The MP5 is little bigger than other guns. But I like it most.

Glock handle is also a bit weird

the rest is looking really good :)

Some weapons have funky outlines, but the shading is good. Reminds me of some of MZ's older work, due to less saturation, thinner outlines and shading which gives off the feeling the material is dull, rather than glossy or shiny. Still, it's okay.
I think this is worthy of my download, especially compared to other new mods I have seen recently.

Thanks for the input. Any opinions on the sounds?

The zip with the numbered bmp's (1.bmp etc) goes into Interface-gfx/Guns.

The sounds are great, though the high quality pushes up the file size. I played this mod yesterday and I found they fit the weapons quite nicely. I like the bolt-action sounds on the sniper rifle.
So yeah, you really need to download this mod if you haven't already.
