Hey I might sound like a total pansie, but hear me out
I myself dont mind if its like:
''Damn, That Sniper Is ****ing Good"
But when its like:
"HEY You muther ****ing asshole, get that
****ing flag!!!!!!!" I dont like that
So............
A no swearing option would be nice?
Maybe also voting on it.....
Sorry about the swearing just giving examples.......

Isn't it ironic how people who are enjoying a game filled with the complete dismemberment of bodies complete with a ton of blood complain about some bad words? :S

Well, I'm sure it would be rather simple to code - just adding some sort of option somewhere to block out swear words in your chat only, but it's still rather pointless. Just /mute *player name* if they're verbally abusive.

Err, ontopic, what with all the {[(^-_K1ll3rMurd3r3rSh4d0wkn1ghtdud30f1337ne55_-^)]}'s, I think a dropdown list of the player would be helpful for muting. I hate having to type one of those 24 char names just to mute someone. Or just a 'mute all' command...(Assuming there isn''t already one...)

When chatting, type the first character of the person's name, press Tab, and Soldat auto-completes it for you. :)

And /mute already mutes everyone unless you specify the name...

You could do as Twistkill suggested, or simply open the player list while the console is up and get their player number. "/mute #" works too. :)
