« on: March 07, 2007, 11:31:06 am »
Its weird, spent so much time on it already, i configured everything as i thought it should be!
All the test with the enesce  connection tester work, arsse works, soldat does work.. only players get disconnected each and everytime... I do aswell...
Forwarded all ports and stuff but still no result..
Anyone some tips or sth?

What kind of a connection do you have? Do you get disconnected from other servers aswell?

Edit: When I ping that IP-address I get latencies from 80ms to 400ms, almost every second one is over 200 or so.

If I ping u13.net, I get pings around 147-150ms, usually 148ms, but to your IP address I get latencies with so high tolerance. Do you have any clue why this might occur? I think if you can solve this, your server starts working.

Depends on which you enjy playing with. Generally talking for me, somewhere around 166-200 is the max I like playing with on publics. Clanwars it is somewhere <50-66, max 100.

You should set the ping kick to somewhere 180-220 imo, but it is highly dependent on what you prefer. :)

Hmm, I think that reason is in your connection. Only thing which comes to my mind is that you are using WLAN or some other wireless solution. If this is not the case, the problem may be your ISP, and there is nothing you can do about it, except changing to another.

There is yout problem; the connection. Wireless connection is not so "stable" than wired one, and that explains the jumping ping. Try to get wired connection, or try to make the connection more stable. :P
