New Soldat server with Rush-It Server company

Know the guys from this server company so got them to put me one up for my clan with vent....

They have never done it before, and basically me neither! im knew to it all, not gaming but soldat servers and commands....

Server runs if its on a map which aint CTF i will type in /gamemode 3 for it to change but it crashes the server every time

Also having problems connecting to its ftp but the server guy can, but he doesnt know what to do to sort it!

the /gamemode command restarts the server.  When you say it "crashes," does it come back as the game mode you wanted or does it stay "crashed" ?

i was told by a guy on irc that the soldat.ini needs sorting on the server side!

so if this is correct, i can get you lot to tell me what it should be and i can send to the server company for them to sort it for me!

As i look through i notice a few things which might need changing...

Also what other variables have i gotta change.... stuff like nades how many or anything else for matches? and public play?

In soldat.ini there is a setting called gamemode where you set the gamemode you want it to normally have

We already solved the problem in #soldat.servers.  It looked like they had a configuration issue in combination with the broken zip file I posted for 2.5.4
