What is your favorite Operating System?

Linux. Everything about it doesn't suck.
-looks nice
-has features years before windows does (xgl versus aero is the perfect example)
-runs amazingly fast,  even while doing both of those ^ compared to windows
-the file system never bogs down
-ultra-stable, never crashes unless hardware is going bad
-gives you useful error messages when you do something wrong
-overall just less stupid, doesn't treat me like a dumbass
-free, the way software should be

I've never used Linux, so I'll have to cast my vote for windows.  I never really expirience problems with it that I can't fix and almost all software has a version compatable with it.

On-topic:
I'm not sure between windows and linux. Linux does indeed have its fair share of advantages above linux. But I can't seem to let go of my windows partition either. I guess it's a combination of habit and being able to play my most games on it.

Nevertheless, I'm trying to get my ass on linux more often than windows.

-Compatible with damned near everything.
-Doesn't crash nearly as much as people say it does (for me, anyway)
-Easy to navigate
-Easy to customize

I don't have many reasons because I'm not a "fan" of any particular OS, it's just that I've settled into windows so nicely.

It's also what i've used ever since (aside from a short stint with MSDOS at school) I've had or been around a computer so I'd rather use Microsoft.
