Question

I'm really impressed by some of the mods... but what in your opinion is the best one if you play competetively... with like... really noticeable grenades and bullets and easily recognisable weapons.. big gosteks but not ugly... you know?

Usually I just colour code shit like pink pullets for ak... yellow for steyr and a big lime m79 bullet etc... just so I know whats going on around me. But if someone has done one like this but it also looks half decent and not a soldat rainbow fest which I'm used to it would be mucho appreciated.

If you're looking for color-coded weapons, check out Futuristic Mod Valhatros. Every weapon has a different neon color sceme!

I dont think this kinda stuff should be allowed personally, I mean i know there is nothing one can do about it I still think that it is a little cheap to do. unfair advantage...

I enjoyed modding the knife so that it's a sword, but I never could have modified the stabbing range of it, and I wanted to animate it so that my Soldat will take swings every time I press the stab button. Bright color-coded weapons are a bit of a distraction, albeit to my bright pink hair when playing online.

Try this: http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=6820.0

Ontopic, I've got yellowish plasma bullets for minimi, green for AK, these weird bullets that look like confetti for steyr, and a blue laser for ruger. Barret I don't need to change, because you're either dead when you see it, or can tell what it is from the speed. HK you can tell from the low speed, plus it's such a short range weapon they'll probably be on your screen; same with m79. Minigun's also obvious, the bullets travel fast and there's gonna' be hundreds flying at you...

And all my in game weapons stand out a bit; I use my Crimsonland mod and all the weapons are a light blue.

On that note, my chainsaw's useful because it's a blowtorch, and you can see the flame of someone trying to pred-saw you ;D
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.
