I like the map. Though maybe some more deep snow? It looks as though it had been snowing for a long time but the soldiers are running on what looks like fresh powder without sinking. It's really the only fault I can see (and I can understand some reasons why this may be the case).

It's fun how enemies can easily hide out of sight in quite a few areas (the small tunnels on either side).

haha man you just spit these things out, don't you? i'm not going to repeat myself about how mind-numming the visuals are ;D because you get that every time. though not one of you're most outstanding maps, it's still nice to see a snowy-themed map. i like the heavy snow mod too. nice idea! my only concern is the heavy use of barbwired ground. it makes the map more of a jump-around-and-try-not-to-step-on-painful-shit than a focus-on-killing-that-other-little-dude-over-there like soldat traditionally is. i'd remove some of the barbed wire and it'd be pretty kick ass! 9/10! :D
lol siggeh deleted for the 7th time! that's like a new record or something, ain't it?

Barbed wire keeps players from spreading along the map. And i didn't put it on the very long section...

Deep snow allows players to hide almost anywhere, so i decided to put just some snowdrifts here and there...

once again, a wonderful map. You will be remembered as one of soldat's greatest contributers. You definately are the best mapper, although i think i must credit Averax as the best inventer of soldat submodes (is there tention between you two?). At any rate, you have a nice collection of tw maps accumulating. I still would love to see a jungle-ish one, but this is great!

BTW, the doors on the far sides of the map where players enter the combat, reminded me of the old game lemmings. you guys ever play lemmings?

Nice, although I don't like playing TW... I need to see my opponents, otherwise it's bad...

apart from that, i especially like the detail you spend on adding small snow covers even to crates and stuff... the fading effect at the spawns is a cool idea ;) thanks for a load of pretty< snow scenery ;Q

- i'll release this sceneries as part of add-on to my vegitation sceneries pack
- dense snow mod replace snow.bmp weather effect with new 256*256 png image. It looks much better then default one...

Well this snow gfx is from my unfinished *The Slayers* mod. I've made other weather gfx as well... But i kinda wanto publish them along with my mod (if it ever will be complited...)

Well...isn't snow suppose to do that?

Anywho, I like the map. I haven't played on a snow one like this before, and it looks fun. I like the idea of using concept art to make maps, and I was thinking about that for my next map (which I plan to make TW. I also like how you shaded the polys and it all usually all boils down to how you place your polygons, so you have to have an idea of how you want the map to be shaded before really setting it up. That's how it works for me. Well, time to go get the snow mod which looks much nicer than current snow and go play some TW Rime.

By the way, you got any tips on how to make a good TW map? I've only made three maps and none of them are TW ;). I suppose I'll just look at other maps and see what they all have in common then go on from there.
