Lapis Lazuli, $20 says I can keep it just as fast for a month.Oh, and I have Ubuntu running on hard drive #2. So far the windows gui responds faster. Haven't gotten a chance to test processor intensive programs on linux yet though.

Solution?Ubuntu. My system goes woosh everytime, all the time. And its only getting faster. That's the coolest part about Linux. The more you use it, the faster it gets. If you are on your PC several hours a day, your system will run beyond compare. And there is nothing like running Neverwinter Nights and Tremulous, both full, 3D games, at the same time, windowed, with no performance decrease at all.Not to mention, open source software is the ****.
