it'd be nice to have text in the console be in the same color as your shirt and F1-name color.  The name of the person who sent the message should still be in normal color (white normal, yellow in team-talk) but the rest could be your own color...hopefully no one picks a color similar to the maps background :/
and maybe add this for the text above a person too (and not just console)!

60% of text would be black, and in CTF.. red and blue color aren't so easy to read.
I see no improvment, therefore don't support it.

Colored text is already implemented in the next version of Soldat/Server.

Although, you'd need a script to do it, and I don't know if you can use a haltdefault on the messages. You'd have to ask EnEsCe.

Colored text could be used in the lines of rankings inside a server. For example:

Spasm: EFC LOW. KILL HIM! <------Top-ranked admin
Jester: D:                            <------Server Admin
Blue-ninja: Awwwwww                                     <------Normal Person
[teamspeak]Rickshaw: EFC HIGH. KILL HIM.     <------Teamspeak

nah... the rank thing is bad... i preffer to add <<< for top-ranked admins, << for server admins, and < for moderators
