oh god...

take a demo ffs and use something that doesn't suck. there are other options then fraps, hell even "Windows Media Encoder" is a better screencapture than that garbage.

Indeed, record a demo and then play it back inside Soldat and use Fraps to capture the AVI file.
There is an older but free version of Fraps that does not have the time restrictions that the new one have, the only downside is that it can't record sound. I'd recommend that.
