Lose the cartoony trees; they don't fit with the texture at all.  Replace them with something more realistic (use VTT's veg_trees).  Add some more grass and probably some vegetation in the background.

But hey, it's a good effort.  Besides the trees, the scenery choice was good for this map.

I'm pretty much with E_A. Plus, why did you make this CTF? It's wayyyy too small for that, even smaller than ctf_Dropdown2 or ctf_Kampf. It should've been DM or HTF like Wraithlike originally planned it out for. The grass and the middle liana are appropriate, but the rest of the stuff on the map looks pretty out-of-place. The trees, bushes, and rocks could look great on another map... but they don't at all fit here.

What are those spike things in the bottom pit? :P

The trees and the spike things are weird, and this was really meant for dm/htf, but all that aside, you got some good ideas in. I hope you plan to do some revision to the trees and such. Oh, and I absolutely love the shading and texture. It might me the best I've ever seen. XP

Wow, VTT's scenery is so good it makes even that horrible excuse for a map look nice :) But I agree, this is a little two small for a CTF match (except maybe the unheard-of 1on1), plus the fact that one could spray like there's no tomrrow from the upper rocks.

The preferred outcome of war is peace. Ironic, huh ?

this is one of these moments where I say  "eh." so....

...

...

...

.....EH.

OT: Yeah, it looks more of a DM map than a ctf map, although VTT's sceneries make it look good enough for one. Needs shading, I think. And water! Wotsa water! *drools*

It was unfinished. The scenery looks a lot better now, but I think you could work on the shading yourself a bit; the polygons look sort of bland as it is right now, IMO (just a bunch of texture-stretching but no very radical colors)

In the beginning, those cartoony trees were kickin rad. Well, of course, as everyone else has said, there were very out of place looking and the gave the map an odd feeling. Now with the more detailed trees, it looks certainly nicer. If this originally was a ctf, if'd give on the team on the left more advantage when it came to capturing the flag. As a dm of htf, I wouldn't complain.

The texture looks pretty decent, but like Keron Cyst (why do I always quote people like this...) said, it does need some more polygon coloring, well more interesting colors.

I moved it, but I'm a mod, not an admin. And please use the button in the top-right of your post instead of quadruple-posting, lol :P

It's easy to change vertex colors. Use the Vertex Colour Tool in combination with the Palette window. There is also the Texture Tool for texture-stretching... it's all very self-explanatory, heh. Click the question mark in the top-right of PolyWorks for more info.

Doesn't look like there is much of a difference except that the outline of the map is darker and some areas are just a tad bit darker as well. The stretching looks alright.
