My second map is done!
ctf_Lost Island

Map Type: Capture the Flag
Custom Scenery: Yes
Poly Shading: Yes
Bot Support: Yes
Poly Count: 628
Scenery: 208
Colliders: 105

So basically, the reds have their flag in a small hut on the left beach. The blues are in a small valley right before a cliff drop off on the right. Many places to get cover as you make you ascent to the mountain top or as you come charging down, or if the outdoors just ain't your flavor there is a small cave complex for you to navigate through as well. Also, thanks to VirtualTT for some of the sceneries from his ctf_Inka map!

oh my god, this is truely the best island map I have ever seen.
The clouds and the grass/plant scenery usage is phenominal.

He used bmps. You can tell because in firefox they load from bottom up, as opposed to top-down.

Edit: Nice bill. You've got the job for polygons at INFMS.

lo and behold! my the files are being transfered to my new host and everything should be up and running at a much faster speed before 11:00, June 30, Eastern Standard Time!

again, Im so sorry for all the waiting! >_< its just that I cant stand helping others with a game I cant even play because they hog my connection downloading my things as I try to play a simple zombie match or something, lol.

dont just use the swamptrees, add some variation between them. That tunnel background doesn't quite fit with the rest of the map because its coloured silver (?) You can change it to brown.

Or brownish-yellow: the gray adds a nice contrast, but it's way too boulderish. Otherwise, I agree with vig.

And it's pretty darn good for your second map

yeah I was kinda hoping for the caves to be all rocky rather than like soil... but whatever lol. and vig, do you have any tree suggestions? I know what ya mean by adding variations but nothing I had really fit well... know of any place I could find some?
