Dystopia Mod
« on: March 25, 2007, 05:56:59 pm »
I think it would be great if someone could make a Dystopia mod or at least an interface. There are a decent amount of weapons to put into it and the interface should work with Soldat well (with 'energy' being jet etc). I might do some of it myself, but I have only done about 2 weapon mods before and have never made an interface from scratch, but I guess theres a first time for everything.

I'm wondering, is dystopia a stand-alone game, or is it a mod?

I posted the game homepage for a reason ::)

Quote from: Literally two clicks away
Dystopia is a cyberpunk themed total conversion of Half Life 2, created by an amature development team and released to the public for free.

The game has barely came out of it's Beta stage. It's a bit like Unreal Tournament but with classes and a 'cyberspace' sub-map that you can hack into via consoles on each main 'meatspace' map. The point of that is to open doors and claim machinegun turrets to help out your comrades in meatspace. If you're not a huge fan of classes, you may be pleased to know that there’s a good amount of Deus-Ex style weapon and augmentation mix-and-matching to add a more customised aspect to your player.
