You have been banned. - BUG

Several times I've been banned while playing with my cousin, on a server he is making himself. It's extremely annoying, but after a awhile i get unbanned.

I don't use and have never used any cheats for Soldat, so that can't be the issue here. Any tips on how we could avoid it?

It's possible the lag between you and your cousin's server is really bad which causes you to be automatically ping kicked for 15 minutes, so you cannot join for 15 minutes.

Is it only on his server that this happens to you?

I don't know actually. I only play Soldat with my cousin, and we have rarely joined another server.

As has been mentioned, it's most likely lag; the config would need to be modified to allow higher pings. It's also possible that it's a misconfiguration, in which case you should post the config here.

Where can i find the config, and how can it be changed?

EDIT: I think I've found it.. but how can we change the perm ban that I've gotten?

Config is soldat.ini, bans are in banned.txt; while the server is running someone with admin powers can do /unban <IP>.

What if he's just creating the game, and not actually making a dedicated server?
