Pretty much, the realistic camera (can't see other player behind you, etc) crossed with normal mode, so none of the recoil or falling damage is there.
Pretty much, I'd like to see this put in, because I constantly find myself playing realistic, but hating it because of the recoil and easy damage, etc.
Yes this is all about me.

CONCLUSION: Normal mode with the realistic camera.

Discuss.

u should've simply said "normal mode with realistic line of sight" - that might go in the records for the shortest and briefest suggestion ever!  8D

on topic:
yeah, that would be pretty fun!  I'm sure many people will like it!

Make it a server option and it'd be good, but not default! The current way Soldat's normal mode is gives it an arcadey feel, and unhampered vision greatly contributes to that.

yeah ive always wanted a mode like this. and it shouldnt be too hard to do, either. lets call it Halo 2 mode, cuz in that game you can fall from hella high up and not get hurt lol

no that would be "filters please"

no, i think this is pretty stupid, you ether play realistic or you dont, you can easily get used to the recoil and damage.

Like "Advanced" and "Survival," you mean. If it was a space-consuming game type like Realistic it wouldn't catch much popularity methinks.

Jester: N is indeed awesome. ^_^

Topic: I support the idea if it doesn't actually replace the camera in the standard normal mode, make it as an option. I do not like realistic, especially because of the camera, and if both game modes would have that camera, I would no longer like Soldat because of that. ;_;

people had already suggested this in the old forums, and it was shot down. the reason why is that the soldat communities are already pretty split up (realistic and un-realistic and others), adding more options would just further the seperation between the communities. and become like UT 2000 (i think this was the example used) where theres only like 20-30 people that play together with the game types they prefere.
