EVen if the damage and intervals were changed, it doesnt make a difference in online play. It's because the mod encourages you to shoot the weapons, thats why you got more kills. And SE2 makes SE1 look like crap.

I meant the gun sounds ( didn't even notice the new spawn sounds but then i just checked the mod out for like half hour ) . I play FPS games ( Counter Strike Source, Call of Duty 4 ) a lot and the guns sound more "appropriate" to me. Maybe it's just down to personal taste so just ignore my writing :P

nice mod as always Mangled,the big guns aren't really my taste but it's still looking verry good, sounds are good to, using some parts of the 1st version (explosions,some sounds,..) and will be replaced by the new one's ;)

Holy shit, this mod is amazing. No one could ask for better weapons or sound effects. I use Dairy's bullet ricochet sounds from his Battlefield 2 mod in my default Soldat settings... and I'm seriously considering making this my default. :D

Okay here is the missing bullet and the fixed MP5 sound. Bullet goes in Mods/SE - Soldat Enhanced/Weapons-gfx and the sound goes in Mods/SE - Soldat Enhanced/Sfx

Definately my default mod. Honestly, Mangled's are the only mods i download today...sick of wasting time on shitty mods all around.

The mod is still awesome; just by looking I can't tell much of a difference from the last version, but then again most of the emphasis was on the sound, which is (judging from the preview video) incredible. That explosion looks great too. Though I have yet to download the mod and see if it can replace the alpha TA-2.

It's completely intended to look that way.

This is because the FN Minimi / M249 uses a box magazine with a bullet feed that goes in through the left side of the gun. Just like real life.



Like in this pic... except that the bullets are fed by a box magazine attached underneath.

From the right side all you see is the underslung box magazine, from the left side you see the box magazine and the bullets feeding out of it.
