That's easy. Just watch Dr. Who or something equally silly. People will notice your slowly progressing British accent before you do.

And then pretty soon, British people will begin to sound normal, and you won't be able to detect exactly what's different about their accents.

FYI, I went through this once, and no, not by watching Dr. Who. Someone I had met finally asked if I had been to some famous British garden as they had thought I was from England. It really them off guard when I said I wasn't British, at all.

So I came back from a disco yesterday and when I went up to my room I saw they'd put a new flatscreen TV and a PS3 into my room with a nice collection of games and a computer.

@jrgp: I already have a little British accent and I must say I plain love it. (Get yours now, too!)

I'm going to take a break from soldat. If you need me, you can e-mail me. I'm not sure if I'll come back to soldat forums again but if I don't, you know what's up. I might check up on my interface thread now and then. The reason I'm leaving is because the Modding Threads haven't been very active in 2010. I guess I'm back :/ My mill, lathe, compressor and a couple broken guns all got stolen, so I lost a shit ton of money right there buying brand new rifles and a shotgun for a guy.
Alot more free time now, even with a kid and a job. I miss this game.

I've been doing some independant gunsmithing, I'm a certified machinist and have a 30hr/week job making random doodads out of aluminum and steel. Working on getting a business license and a loan so I can do it legally and be insured. ATF hates me.

I play every day, people are still making lots and lots of maps, people like virtualtt are still slaving away writing functional third party apps, clan wars and gathers are still going on at every moment, etc etc etc

Activity on this forum is not indicative of Soldat's current usage.
