Well, I became a moderator to a different forum whose administrators are all vastly different (and mostly all inactive but one) which leads to disagreements, de-adminizations, admin actions without telling anyone, ETC. And to make matters worse, the root admin of the forum is never on, and when he is, he's unbanning some member, or changing a member's name without telling anyone else.

So yeah. That's the short of it.

Not a whole lot, really. SOme of the oldtimers went pretty inactive, but that was an issue already back in your day. We had a large moderator addition, but out of those nominated, few of us are still here. A couple of new guys spring up every once in a while, but most of them don't really stick around.

Oh, and some of us has been trying to get a bit of CS: SOurce up and running. Care to join in? if you do, my steam is DarkMormor

Don't have CS:S, unfortunately. I'd totally join in if I did, if only to be a huge target for the snipers.
Inactive mods is a problem at the forum I moderate, also. There's a grand total of one active admin out of 4, and one active mod out of 4.

I might try to work on another soldat mod, again, if I get back into it. The ones I made were pretty mediocre, but hey, I enjoyed it.

What about things clan-side? Pretty much the same old clans? any new ones that have gotten popular?

I don't follow the clan scene these days, sorry to say. In fact I don't even play soldat any more. I don't really have the time to be sitting around all that much.

hmm. So I banned Miketh2005 (I think that was his name) for hacking. He tried to have me deadminned and said he wasn't hacking. This started a huge controversy and I was made public enemy #1. But a few days later people realized he was hacking and they let me ban him for a year, which he actually liked.

Oh, and it seems I royally pissed off UnknownSniper and caused him to throw an epic fit about how terrible the staff of the SF are (according to him). He left.

Needless to say, my position as an admin has been unaltered for what, nearly 8 months?

Big drama over something to do with EnEsCe's servers a while back. That was pretty fun, but it made ElephantHunter leave somewhat.
