Oh yes, I've got a polaroid and an XTi packed and ready to go. I'll be sure to get a good "wish you were here" pic of me, mistercharles, and someone we pick off the the street.

Well, that didn't last long. I made it to Pennsylvania on my bike before my grandmother got worried and called me; I figured it would be a big deal, but then she threatened to call the cops, so I came all the bloody was back.

Such a disappointment after all that buildup

This is the kind of mindset I was in when I left. Then, when I talked to her, it totally broke my trance-like "I don't even care" state of mind. Dammit.
