i feared mm was gonna lock 1.4 announced saying "april fool, haha" and then we would form a riot to his house.

this is good enough.. im still gonna look at the .zip's and such to see what it was. hurrah dragonflies! maybe next, we'll get to ride the serpent in mm's avatar. haha

I fell for it so bad, in fact before I checked the download link, I ran around to my favourite server screaming ZOMG!!! SOLDAT 1.4 IS OUT!!!11!!! All the servers became empty, everyone was leaving to dl it. Now they all wanna kill me.

Umm...I don't think you get it. It's March 32nd for crying out loud!
It's a 29-bit text file given a .zip ending which reads:
Soldat14: file does not exist
Think about it. It might be the highlight of your day.

I don't get it. Either because I'm on 56k and 106mbs is huge, or the "mirror" is stuffed up.

or because it was a specially crafted php file that was made to give the appearance of being a large file that would never download.
