Well both of them have a special place in my heart. I like MZ's style very much but the other one has it's appeal too. The weapons look more real. It really comes to the personal taste and I can't decide which is better. I do like the Franchi SPAS cause thats a better lookin one but I also like MZ's deagles cause of that awesome shading...

Just so you know, I don't really like Spec Ops and WWII TCS mods because of the cartoonish looks cause I think they don't fit into those mods themes but these two mods are one of the best mods I've seen. ( I would also include Metal slug mod, ERA, H&K and Project: Ion Storm)

In the end I chose Soldat Evolved. For a while I pondered to make a mix between the two mods (as I really like the sound effects in Enhanced) but in the end it felt awkward. I roll with more 'subtle' mods like Evolved, which is the best mod I've ever used.

Neo-Soldat, just ignore the fist.
Soldat Enhanced has some funky proportions (the knife interface image is bigger than the SOCOM interface image, for starters) and Soldat Evolved is too dark for me.

i'm using the Neo-mod also, and Neo and EVO are much alike to me, just Neo is a bit lighter...

Enhanced has some damn sexy sound effects, the weapon graphics look nice and the minigun is full-sized, but most of the weapon graphics seem too big, and EVO's just have a better, more stylish feel somehow. Pound for pound, I'm gonna have to vote for EVO.

EVO, because sounds from Enhanced aren't better then defaults, guns are too big, and i loved EVO for bi-pods from the very first look

Soldat Evolved seems to have a much more consistent style, but Enhanced's weapons are definitely more complex than those in Evolved. I guess it's all up to personal preference, and mine pulls me towards Soldat Evolved - I've been using it for a while now - because of the more simple, Soldat style of the weapons, and the consistent look of the weapons. Enhanced is nice, but the menu graphics are too large, and it feels too complicated for me.

I've never actually played any of the other remakes, only Enhanced (for obvious reasons)

I like the metallic looks of the weapons in Evolved, it's definately my.. err second favourite Although I think some of the weapons in Evo and Neo-soldat are uncannily similar to eachother, with a mere difference in shade and colour.

Since I feel like going on the defensive about my oversized weapons  ... I can see what some people mean about them.. but I guess what I was aiming for was detail and large scale rather than keeping with soldats smaller weapon size although of course they aren't in proportion to eachother, but do they have to be? I made them all purposely the largest I could without having them overlap and going behind the text.

I guess it's just my style of drawing. If you like it, that's great.. if you don't, that's fine also.

Evolved, by far. I don't doubt that a lot of effort went into enhanced, but I really dislike the realistic style. Abd The scale is kind of sketchy.

So die fast, pics of weapons always, If you edit and remake this as interface guns always like ugly or just only good, because dont have full details, shades etc. Second...  evo is partial, enhanced full mod, so dont make comparision only for part of mod. All mods done from start, manualy, just one is redrawed like real pics, so this is + for me, some players like simple weaps, because dont cause them to concetrate at weapons menu, just at game, so just confuse some players. All mods want be  best, but just are different, simple vs advanced, normal mode vs realistic mode, is that fair comparision? Maybe EVO is popular because new players playing at this similiar easily as professional players or have silmilar to Soldat style weapons (realistic guns with unrealistic theme), so is for almost every player, but for hard, soldat brutal'n'gore theme like real world or merciles war best is Enhanced.
