War names?
« on: April 05, 2007, 10:27:58 am »
Too often, we see guys who talk in the soldat moments for some reason other than to brag about their kills. Think about how much cooler it would be if we named some wars between Alpha and Bravo. Only matches that last longer than ten minutes is war. And give that war a name, like Grenada or something. Surviving it will be cooler than bragging about your awesome kills.

I survived the battle of Arkr-ram, by sneaking past a few alphas, grabbing the flag, and dodging five alphas, killing three of them, and running away with flag. Held the flag while Bravo was trying to return the flag. Lost it when I died from a lagger.

Don't even played the game. Yes, there would be too many wars, but it would give us veterans a break. That's why I said ten minutes playing capture the flag. Do you even know how fast those games go? Like, two minutes.

It's better than saying, "I survived this match with the uh...the uh....uh...."

Unless you mean Survival mode, how can you not survive a CTF match?

... Lol?

I survived the great Battle of Man of Boogie. I dodged past 30 of those skillful warriors, their chainsaws wielded like it was their life, I then switched to my secondary, the Great and Fearsome M72-LAW, for which I used to kill 3 Boogie Men in a single blow. I switched back to my primary- the Spas-12, also know as Reaper-12. I grabbed the flag as fast as I could and flew back to my base, boosting myself and killing a few of those savage warriors along the way. I then continued to destroy Boogie Men from my base, so that I would be able to cap my loot. After 30 kills (5 of them being from grenades), I single handedly defeated the savages, and continued to cap the loot. I ran out of my base to continue on my noble and virtuous quest, when 15 Boogie Men came and mowed me down.

O.o yeah It's 3:02AM and I'm bored.

By NOT surviving, that means dying a lot, making a lot of bad mistakes, not doing any of the spectacular things.

Well, going through wars without quitting the campaign is a 'paign' in the butt, so to speak. Slapping people who are irish is funnier.

I survived #sticksoldiers PH34RF35T no. 001. Me, a friend and two awesome bots faced off against 7 PH34RB0Ts and 4 zombies, for some reason. Using my l33t ninja skillz, I dropped down like a tornado onto their robotic/undead asses and proceeded to unload a flurry of 9mm bullets. Unfortunently, one of the PH34RB0Ts had a pair of Deagles and punctured my spleen. Not to worry, I respawned 1 minute later fresh as a daisy and went on to minisurf for 10 seconds! The Wright brothers ain't got nothin' on me!

That was fun to write. Good idea.

I survived the great Chop Shopper Battalion. As head leader of the Alpha team, and high priority flag camper, I had to have excellent accuracy unless a Bravo were to take the flag. The many hordes of blue men came as quickly as they fell. Their warcries of, "HACKER" and "LAGGER" were vast, but my ears just played to the tune of my Ruger bolting knifes out of it's barrel. At one point I had to trudge through the wastes of ctf_Voland, past the many corpses of my dead Alpha bretheren and take the flag from the sickening Bravo beasts.

Hey, why not.

With the Warhammer 40K mod, you could just say it's a thrid-person-shooter version of one of the many Dawn of War maps.

I whistled for a cab and when i came near, The license plate said 'Fresh', And had dice in the mirror, If anything i could say that this cab was rare, But I thought 'Nah, forget it - Yo, home to Bel-Air!'
I pulled up to the house at bout seven or eight, I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo home, smell ya later!' I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there! To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air!
