Right now my desktop is filled with useless junk. The wallpaper is pretty nice, though.

The widget is the default system monitor thingy. Right clicky on the top bar and add to panel, select "System Monitor", Change options.

They actually go to /media I have not gotten them to auto-mount yet.

Gotta love Eva Greene. (Yeah, my desktop is cluttered. I'll remove a lot of old junk soon.)

Thanks Bja888. I'll tell you how to auto mount those by editing the /etc/fstab the next time we're both online aim and I'm awake.

I've always got a bunch of windows opened full screen. I almost never even see my desktop anyway, but it's what I usually use for temporary things I might use once or twice. I'll delete that pic eventually. I just don't feel like uncluttering my desktop at the moment.

edit: I like your background, by the way.

bja, you should link me to the original image that's on your background.  Looks tight.
Gamer_2k4

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

Best Admin: jrgp, he's like the forum mom and a pet dog rolled into one.

Yeah, afaik all Linux window managers have support for multiple virtual desktops built in. Each lets you have something different in them.
