Camping?

I find it satisfying to just jump on top of them and blast them with whatever... sometimes I bash them with my hands when I get a chance.

I never ever camp because i'm just too impatient. Whenever I see a camper I throw a grenade and simultaniously shoot with mp5.

If you've played every map enough, you basically know where to look for them.  I do hate when people camp by their own flag though.  Find somewhere in the middle of the map to do it

^ With my camouflage I used to be able to fool even the most vigilent player  . But now with my Minimi, there not much point in camping unless I do a quick ambush and I rarely do that because of the lameness. Now my camouflage is just cosmetic rather than for actual use.

Once on a leo server i killed 27 people without being noticed and 3 EFC...

Thinking you're good because you kill people who don't have a chance to react with a one-hit is the only thing about camping that bothers me. Flag camping is annoying as hell, but it's a part of the game and can be overcome. Personally, I'll camp in an enemy's base for a steal or return, but I'll never camp my own base since I think that's both gutless and boring.

When I just made an insane shot with the barret at the weirdest angle I hate being called a camper simply because my victim did not see where the shot came from...  When I do camp from time to time (rarely though), nobody complains mainly because they know there's nothing they can really do about it (vote kick usually doesn't work most of the time anyway).
But I don't like when there's a person who, for the entire round, just camps and protects his flag.  Not only does it demonstrate that he's a coward, but also it shows that he probably has not experienced soldat to its MAX because he never goes to attack... However it is quite satisfying when you are able to go around a camper who's protecting the flag and punch him, makign him drop his gun and just walk away with his flag while he punches the air...

I don't see why everybody thinks of camping like it's kitten rape. The game is obviously made with camping in mind just as an element of play. It can sometimes annoy me, but so does just about everything, so why get worked up about it?

You know, I find i very amusing that while playing soldat on any given server over half the people there will call campers noobs.  Yet on the forums everyone seems afraid to admit it.   

Bollocks to that, camping is for queers and pussies. Think I got time to check every bush nook and cranny you're hiding in? I'm busy fighting people who got balls to play and hunting down flags.

I'm glad the majority doesn't really minds camping. Cause I just hate people who hate other people... eh.. that means I... well... ... nevermind that... Camping is part of the game, there are ways to beat campers if you don't like em.

camping is easy to avoid, just move your cursor around through the bushes and hard to see places before you get to close, and if someone is there their name will come up. then just fly up until they cant see you and drop a grenade on them or attack them from the sky

I dislike when someone camps only when they get multiple kills in a row. Basically, I agree with PerfectCircle. I usually camp on inf when I'm on bravo, because that's the whole point of bravo's job on inf is about, to prevent alpha from getting the flag. I remember one game on the U13 inf server, I was on Bravo and most of our team was camping except for a few people. Alpha was saying "Omgz camperz" when we're the ones who have to defend the flag. It's not like Bravo has an offensive objective, so we have no choice but to camp. -_-
