Agree thats the best. Nice and "traditional" but with "modern" Soldat inscription. (better with background)

  • The icon should scream "SOLDAT" all by itself

I guess you are right... But that habbit to add Soldat text to icon affected me as well. So now i've made new icons without any text.

VTT, where did you get those images?  If you drew them yourself then wicked, otherwise maybe not (plagiarism). Slayers' latest are the best IMHO now (may also look good with the b2b backbround colour).  There's so many coming outta the woodwork, but slayers keeping original to the game. ROCK ON!

the latest 3 posts look awesome... I like the bloody chainsaw one but it looks more like a modded soldat icon.

Pretty much all of the icons posted look like crap when they are the proper 16x16 size -_-

The 16x16 icon will need to be tweaked quite a bit. It's abnormal to just resize a standard icon.

Remember that the 16x16 will also be used as the tray icon. Pretty much always in the new version...

VirtualTTs is best in my opinion, very clever idea and truly fits to soldat. I'd like to see them in 1.4!
