[Request] Mod choice in game

HI!

me as a simple human being who wants to use more mods in a week and is tired of using 36 shortcuts for soldat mods wants to be able to choose his mod in game/profile, just like the interface style..

ps; doesnt mind if its gonna be a registeren feature cause i paid! ROCK YA! (AND I JUST FEEEEEEEEEL ITS GONNA BE ADDED, cuz im gonna pay 6th_account to whine about it, but hes offline atm so..)

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to load appearance mods that same way you can load weapon mods...Good idea, support. ;D

Agreed.
I would like a separate command for it, though, such as "/loadfullmod moddir"
where moddir is the directory for the mod.

im talkin the same way as interface option, in the options menu.. a dropdown menu where it reads the folders which are in /Mods dir. The way you have to do it now is to work with a shortcut with -mod <modname>

I just want it in the menu! mmk?;''-) there is no use to have it as a command in game :F

I would rather like to have somethin as a launcher program instead of the Setup where you could choose your options, manage your mods and favorites adn stuff

If Michal Marcinkowski implements this, all that will need to be done is reload Soldat's files with the ones in the mod's folder. It probably wouldn't have much of a visual impact on the program, since I think all files are loaded as they are needed. I don't know how the -mod command is implemented (I just have the documentation), so I don't know how hard it will be to implement. Perhaps as an option in the main menu screen, as profiles are now?

Ideally, graphics, sounds, text, etc. would be able to be chosen separately and one could choose to mix graphics & sounds from different mods, or pick a mod from a drop-down list and it changes all other settings. If you've used one of Ivan's mod config programs, you'll have an idea of what I mean.

Although that last^ post made me think "Mod mixer!".
Of course, putting mod-mixing as an inbuilt feature would rock. :)

Choosing a mod from the setup would be awesome, as would loading it in-game. I support both.

O_o Loading it during a game? That just sounds weird. I'd be happy with just the menu option thanks. :)

Edak's mod-mixer into Soldat? That will be very convenient. Support.
