btw, since I am a real man, I do stirfries on the barbeque!

I don't like gas powered appliances.... they explode.

Well then you obviously aren't a real man and can't handle a barbeque.

Mac and cheese is pretty cheap to make...
all you need is some cheese, some cornflour, some mustard (preferibly mild), some milk, and a few shakes of garlic powder. and of course, some maccoroni!

I can cook pretty good spaghetti bologneise. Im also good at cooking pizza.
My main speciality is at cooking weird stuff most people are scared at attempting, like chucking a battered brownie into a deepfrier.

obviously nether of you understand the pwnage concept of char coal.

grilling is fun, you just wait until your food turns to a nice color.

stew is easy, beef jerky is easy, all you do is boil corn, potatoes can be made just about any way you could ever think of.

i find baking has a better reward than grilling :D

Not true :P  I know plenty of people when even with a recipe in hand they can't cook worth a damn :P  Other people just are naturally better at cooking :o

For me I basically eat out or cook, so I get alot of practice.  Lately I have been cooking alot of big meals with my roommates though.  2 of my roommates are from africa and cook amazing stews so I have been learning from them ! :D  Just the other day we cooked a goat stew and it was pretty delicious.

I usually make:

stuffed peppers
fried talapia with rice
fried shrimp
steak
pot roast with potatoes
grilled chicken salads
grilled sandwiches
tacos

Shake n Bake is great, and I'll sometimes experiment with some other foods and recipes when I feel like it. I like cooking, but since I live alone, it really doesn't make sense to make a big time consuming meal often.
