ctf_Kampfy

About:
I decided to make a remake of the awesome default map ctf_Kampf. This version is a bit longer and uses a lot more scenery, plus completely different shading. Made in around 6 hours.

a little blocky, but not bad. Shading is OK, overall its OJIKAY but nothing special. I dont like how you did the things on the right and left wall.

Hmmm, well, I like the idea of remaking default maps, but if you do, don't forget that Kampf, for example was a very symmetrical map. Yours isn't and from what I can see, blue has a rather peculiar flag 'cave' which makes it hard to escape from nades, which means capturing the blue flag is harder. Then we also have the issue of the middle hill, which was designed to hold back most of the non-controlled spraying, where your map just promotes it by just making a few slopes, nothing that'll really prevent b2bing (barretting from one side of the map to another). Also, red has an extra platform on which a flag carrier or a sniper could hide. The upper route entrances are restrictive, but that's just my opinion. ;)

The shading is okay, but not too special. Same goes for all scenery. Remakes should be good-looking, not default-like  ;)

Now that I think yes the flag on the right looks nade owned. fix that up by making the opening bigger.

Actually, ctf_Kampf is one of those perfect maps. Original, secure layout, balanced sides, one of the map that lags less. Not perfect scenery, but just enough to make it good, and not too much to hurt the eyes.

There's nothing you need to add, and nothing you need to take from the map. :)

I just wanted to make a remix of Kampf. A version that kinda was kinda like a forest, instead of a barren war area.
