Wow! That's great Ninja!

Did all of this drawing skill come naturally guys? Or was it years of intense practise?

i just decided to draw one day and my mate said, thats pretty damn good man, you should do this more often...

and to A 4 year old, you'll get there eventually, practice makes perfect...

grafiti is passion.

i cant get ahold of spraypaint, and i kinda live in a good neighborhood. but i enjoy looking at it. theres a popular tagging spot on my corner, i go down and like to check it out. im thinking about taking a picture of it everyday for a year or so and putting it in a quick slideshow to watch the wall grow. i never get too close because theres a small river in the way, and im afraid ill go down there one day and get shot/taken to a police office for "graffiti" even though i was just looking. its a pretty popilar corner.

as for drawing, i rarely try it because of terrible art teachers and lack of inspiration. the most i draw is stick figures, and those usually get trashed.

alexored, your style is awesome, yet some are kinda violent, like the chainsaw one. makes me think of how psycho's release their anger into writing/drawing until they go too far and. well. (VT)

im not saying you are, im not saying you will, im not saying that anyone that does will. i just got shivers when i saw them(maybe thats a good thing)

if anyone wants to send me an idea for me to draw, ill try it and post it. thats all i have to say for now

In reality it isn't the people who express themselves that go postal. If you have some way of showing your emotions like music, art, comedy, anything other then hitting a object/organism with some form of a weapon to express your anger is a good thing. Sure it looks a bit violent but it beats the hell out of pondering it for hours/days/weeks/months/years

Artistic expression helps to deal with strong emotions without losing the driving energy and becoming depressed.

Drawing creates feeling in people, including the artists themselves. Despite what you have heard from King of Queens, drawing is not gay. It is just a reflection of your feelings, no matter how deeply buried they are. Even graffiti is art. Nobody ever really made a blank wall for people to spray paint on. Last year. they spray-painted the local skate park for a movie. City Hall got mad at them and made them clean it up. Whatever the reason why it was gone the next day, the art was awesome. So if you see graffiti in a popular corner, take a picture of it. The next day you wake up and haven't taken a picture of it, it's gone. It's not cool. Trust me on this one.

oh don't think i posted this one..

k and heres some more graff flicks for all yo suckers!

i'll start doing some pencil drawings as all the ones you've guys have seen have been done straight with ink, which as you can probably guess is alot harder but as an artist it boosts your drawing confidence and skills dramatically..

As for grafitti...
I like some of it, but never in unauthorised place - I hate when people vandalise public/private property. Clear walls look a lot better.

but in colombine(sp?), the shooters wrote journals full of their intentions. sure you all dont express names, and like i said IM NOT SAYING ALL PEOPLE GO POSTAL im just saying that sometimes ON CERTAIN CONDITIONS it makes them think and write and think and write and then..well.. yeah
Writing intentions and acting it out on paper is are not the same. They not only wanted to do it, but also were redy to take the consequences.

ps, and therion, i like your style. sybolism is awesome.
Thanks :) .
