No, really? It's a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME GENRE.

... No, not at all, you're just used to your little mouse controls in Soldat. God, at least Cortex Command has some story to it, you're not just some random guy in the military shooting other guys because they're alive.

All the cool kids learn keyboard controls. Maybe an hour and a half at most to catch on, 10 minutes if you're quick.

Liking the game is all good and well, but "controls are very good" is a lie. :P

Even if you do completely enjoy the rest of the game, I find it hard to believe that anybody could actually like the controls, even with the mouse.

I suppose that, from a Soldat POV, the controls are bad, as with they keyboard you don't have the accuracy you have in Soldat, or at least it seems that way. I've been using and still use keyboard controls, and they work very well. Even when jetting at an opponent, I can usually hit them with nearly every shot that I fire.

However, I hate the mouse control in CC, so I advise you don't use it. It's a pain to aim, it's jumpy, and overall very bad.

I like the controls. Like my predecessor said, mouse aiming is a bit too jumpy but i love the realisting jetting.

http://www.datarealms.com/devlog/cortex-command/data-modules/

1. Download mod.
2. Extract the xxxxx.rte to the root directory of Cortex Command, probably C:\Program Files\Data Realms\Cortex Command
3. Make sure that there's a file in xxxxx.rte called Index.ini, if so, you've installed it properly.
4. Run Cortex Command, if there are any errors, post about it in the original topic, or check to see if it's for an earlier build
