A new newbie
« on: April 23, 2007, 10:54:36 am »
Hello, I'm lumpunzik and I've been playing soldat for awhile. I haven't played online all that much due to slow internet, but I'm getting broadband this week and guarantee that I will be playing much more often. Kudos to Zamorak for introducing me to this game.

I love playing soldat, and I'm horribly bored of playing against bots. That's really all I have to say.

Welcome.

If you really want to get into the online soldat community you will want to get mIRC. Just google it and download. All the soldat channels such as NA gather and Euro gather, along with many clan channels are on the quakenet server.

Gathers are 3v3 CTF where u simply type !add in the channel and when 6 people add it randomly chooses teams and gives you the server info. #sna.gather for NA and #soldat.gather for EU. These are a great way to get better, much much much better then publics in my opinion.
