When should i quit soldat?

I've had a lot of good fun with the game but also a lot of rage. I've gotten so good at the game that I'm always in first places, and I can spot a cheater within the first seconds of seeing him before anyone else figures it out, but its still pointless.

No one really cares, I just got banned from that 22 player CTF terra server, one of the best ones I can get on. Why? probably because I kept shooting everyone, but instead this cheater which i pointed it out as soon as i got there, got to play forever.

So its pretty much a waste of time, i'll end up getting banned from all those rare really good pinged large player count servers. And I'm not gonna switch to playing with private or clan or RS server, or anything like that, those are so boring for me.

I doubt I can contact the owner of that server, and get unbanned, its probably permanent. That's ok, its one of my only my favorite servers of all time. Maybe I need a girlfriend already.

So how's everyone else's soldat moment been? lol

i think you should quit right away tek+lok. Obviously if you're not enjoying it, you shouldn't play. It's just a video game right? About that rage thing, you got that right. Maybe a new attitude would help. I can't help but notice that you often have bad sportsmanship.

try to unplug your router then plug it back. when I do it it gives me a new IP.

also, there are tons of people on this forums (including me) who does not find any challenge in public servers. if you are better than the others, you are probably gonna experience some kids kick voting you, and if the server is full of morons they will vote yes.

Find a clan, play some leagues or something. its a lot more fun and alot more rewarding than winning against someone named Major and Yourself in a ctf round

Will you truly quit? Is there no hope for that small spark called "Soldat" to spontaneously re-ignite and get your fingers locked in game mode? I've had plenty of moments when I just can't aim properly or eveyone else is waaaaay better than me but I cope by mixing soldat with other games, if soldats making you frustrated then try something else! Watch some comedy or go outside for a while, let it out, then you might even forget soldat for a while. Oh and girlfriends suck *waits for the "boyfriends suck too!" remark*

I've found that simply taking a break and playing another game for about a month helps. I am in the middle of a hiatus from soldat right now.

I was like that at one point, but I learnt that in a community full of noobs except for a handful of decent players, you just gotta get used to it. Not every game is full of the nicest people around, if your gunna play soldat adopt a new attitude, learn to put up with those people. Don't quit.

I'm too addicted and can still find a few servers to enjoy an odd game, but it really sucks getting banned form nice servers hahah.

Soldat + Addiction = Paradox

Getting kicked from a "nice" server = Paradox
UNLESS the people aren't nice, you did something wrong, I'm interpreting nice in the wrong way.

I've 'left' Soldat for a few weeks and then came back severall times. Just come back to it later if you feel you are getting tired of it. Or do Gathers and/or tournaments.

And don't use hacks

its common for all of us to forget its just a game. i mean u make friends and u get really involved in it and its really fun but then u get into an argment about a cheater in te game and someone gets sick of it and says "hey its just a game" and u kinda have to get control of yourself and remember that arguments against possible cheaters unless obviously (fly hack, speed hack, tele hack etc.)  are pointless and u will probobly get kickd because its just annoying. Soldats more fun if ur not so stressed out about laggers who u think are cheaters or people plain better than you. Just play for fun and relax

That's good advice, even though I don't play anything else apart from soldat. Nup, no second game is needed for me to keep soldat "crisp."

well at least the ban wasn't permanent I'm able to get back on, so I guess its back to the usual grind....

don't quit!! Soldat community needs u!! We all need u!! There aren't many good players (no offense guys) so stay!! If ppl just start quitting there will be only a few good players left and a whole lotta of noobs, morons, and majors. That kind of community will suck a whole lot!
