help with a camera
« on: April 23, 2007, 10:14:47 am »
Hi, i decided to make a soldat video. So i make a demo then record it using camstudios. However, when i play back the recorded version it is all jumpy and looks laggy. Is there anyway to get it to be like the clear ones on youtube etc?

You mean actualy filming the monitor with a camera? It's probably looking all jumpy and laggy because the camera can't cope with the monitor's frame rate.

You'd be much better off by downloading some screen recording software such as Fraps. http://www.fraps.com/

Try to play with your screen recording software options. Sometimes the frame rate is low to make videos' size smaller.

Don't use camstudio, that and camtasia usually suck majorly.

As for Windows movie maker there is a zoom in effect, but i don't think there are any options to how far it will actually zoom. if only Hitman were here...

Edit: I was talking about "Ease in" you can't change it around at all, oh and don't worry about the quality of the preview, it is much better when it is all finished.
