There's no reason to whine about that weapon... It's just too easy to aim with I think. A normal GUNSHOT WOUND from a deagle can kill you, why can't a grenade capable of blowing a hole in a tank do this?

I've found that while using the M79, I get almost three times as many kills as I do with my second most perferred weapon (Spaz). The main reason being, a simple flip into the air, while flying behind them, will give even anyone the amount of time they need to reload. I can get two shots in on someone before the even hit me.

My extreme hatred for this gun may stem from the three or so people who I always find on a team, who incessantly kamikaze people. They don't even try to live, they just go flying into you and fire. Instant kill. It pisses me off like hell.

No, I don't think it should be nerfed, though. We should all just get the right to spam them with n00b callings.

To the maker of this thread, you're prolly one of those people that just run up at you with M79, click, and boom you're both dead.

Sometimes the kamikaze M79er even survives.

I do think that the M79 is slightly overpowered. Specially in CTF.

The solution is to make it's splash a bit lower, increment it's self damage to 100%, and increase it's reload time by .1 seconds.

The M79 does not reload while backflipping or rolling, since those are special actions. You are right that the M79 will often get in at least two shots though. I used to think it was short ranged when I used it compared to other weapons, and while it is in the sense that you'll never pelt something off screen as you can with other primaries, it still pretty much has full screen shot capability.

Yes, but the MP5 binks quicky because of that fast rate of fire, and it has a rather short range.

What people need to realize is that people are jsut good with different guns, I started about using autos, then tried spas, then did barret, finally I ended with m79 and am branching out to ruger. Some people naturally use autos some use other guns... thats what makes our little pixelated world go 'round.
