posting this here because it doesnt have anything to do with the suggestion i made, just the response to it:

so i make a suggestion and i get -2 karma. very friendly forum.

well i dont really care about karma, but i get 2 replies. the first one just says "No."

thanks for your constructive criticism and all the well thought-out reasons you gave.

second response basically says "Do it yourself with scripts". im not talking about chat-based scripting. im talking about the death console. last time i checked you cant script that. thank you for your support.

anyway thats all i wanted to say.

Yep, look my karma is really down but think im not the most down karma you will see others, and people i think, they like down the karma but don't worry.

This may be the most active forum I've been a part of, but definetly the least friendly. � I just tend to ignore Karma. � There are people here who have + Karma and yet I don't like them one bit. � There are others with - Karma, yet I like em. �

are you saying my karma is winned because some reasons? i think yes a part of that is of my first post and mod, but the other, i don't undestand and i don't worry

You seem to be a friendly kid, but your posts are hard to read and that's why I skip most of them. I hardly ever smite anyone and I haven't smiten you, but I can see why people don't like you.

Karma isn't that important anyway.  I've had karma as high as 8 and as low as -8.  One day my karma will start rising and the next it's back where it was before.  Karma is more of an indicator of how well specific posts went over, instead of how helpful or innovative a person is.  Some people will even smite you simply because they don't agree.  So ignore it.  You may have started your forum career by making what some considered a lousy post, but it's not that that hard to come back.  If you want your karma to go up, make some great mods, help people out with their problems, and try to avoid being rude or foolish.

Yeah.. I agree. Just look at jrgp. He's a nice kid, and he never hurts anyone. Despite that, he has like -350 karma! Totally uncalled for, but people smite him simply because he has so much negative karma allready. The karma systam doesn't really work out as intended..

back ontopic, I don't think you should worry about people too much, mate. There will always be jerks around, so try not to let it get to you. Just stay cool, and only pay attention to people alike.

I know my english is not the best, because i born in spain here the people don't talk a lot that idiom, im sorry Liber Lupus and only i want to give my oppinion on some topics.

Well, that's another problem here around the forums. Whenever someone isn't very good at english, he's likely to get smited(both verbally and karma..tic). that's just not right. Being bad at english doesn't make your opinions any less valid.

Some people are actually quite low here..

Lets not make this a karma thread, I have had my fill of those. Anyway Echo, it can be very, very annoying to have to deal with people that will not or can't improve their english. Back when I worked at walmart every Sunday we got hit with a wave of illegal mexicans that did not speak any english at all but had several questions they wanted to ask about random items. Thank the Lord for headache medicine....

I think other of the problems is, exaple; im there not a lot and im flagrunner (that doesn't matter) and some people think i get spam, sometimes i spam, but i follow the rules thats the most important, sometimes i had problems with the signature rules and that, but i say to all, the most important on that forum for me, is interest about soldat and other things, if there sometimes have discusions, soon will be peace.
So to all follow the rules (that goes to -Skykanden- to!)

Hah, I can imagine! Yeah, I know it can be a pain. But you just gotta cope with soldat becoming very intenational, and there's gotta be room for everybody, right?
In fact, it is us who don't speak the prober language, since soldat's originally Polish..

Yes but the simple fact is that most people that admit to having terrible english don't do anything to help themselves, they just spit out about bunch of crap and make us put the square peg in the round hole.. so to say...

Now, I was the one who made that second post. What I was saying is that you can already script the server to tell you if someone's on a killing spree.
If you want constructive criticism, then suggest something that can't be done.

Oh, and your newer edit was much better. Thanks for the thought on the matter.

P.S.: I didn't ruin your karma, I promise. iDante was responsible for half my positives...

I agree, Gram. But the fact is, if you're really bad at english it can be hard to just join in with Queens English, mate. I learned English through the internet(well, and I stayed in India for 10 months), but only through constantly throwing myself into debates and what not. There's only one way ahead for someone like that, and that's straight on. At least that's how I see it..

But hey, let's not dwell in it. After all, you're the moderator, so I don't have a whole lot to say anyway It's tyranny, I tell you.. TYRANNY!
