You wouldn't be able to tell if i had an accent just by typing this now, maybe I mispronounce confortable, but you wouldn't know that from how i type, all you would know is whether or not I can use spelling/grammar correctly. on the other hand, iff u typ wf ur feet dn u dnt luuk vry smrt, spcly wn u dnt uz vowlz.

People will like you more if you use the shift key. Take some time to check and make sure your post is as readable as possible and contributes to the discussion in the topic. Avoid using acronyms. Put some time into your post, if you take too long you won't get chatkilled or kicked for being AFK. If you don't have anything useful to say at all, don't post. It'll save everyone's time.
Well, those are the rules I follow, at least. And as long as I've been following them, I haven't had any negative interactions with moderators. In fact, the only time I was banned from a forum was when I was 11 years old and posted a troll site on the old Battle.net forums. You know, like one of those zombie sites people have in their signatures. Except it was in a new topic.

In addition to what xtishereb said, I hate reading posts by people who misspell and shorten words.  This post, for example, nearly gave me an aneurysm.

ok..so im in a ctf game i tell me team im goin on a suicide mission...im mad..so i run lik hell full sniper i c one guy..hes dead..and another...he gone..i then c a bush i dive for it and get ready to sniper some1....im waiting i c 2 guys i get the first with ma sniper then i awlays have a law ans a bak up plan...i complety demolish the other guy....the flag is in ma site 2 more bullets left....i c 2 guys with m27 im lik uho but i manage to hit the other..my law ant on but i try...the snuper loads i kill the other guy who is chargin at me...hes long gone i get the flag with half life .. my team won anway

I've noticed how your toturials seem to express your personal opinion on weapons and whatnot. That's ofcourse fine, and I can tell you really took your time with it, but it's not really for the greater good of soldat nor the forum, and so people tend to not care.
Also, if you wanna make some threads that increase your karma, don't make them too long. People will only sweep through them if at all, and they'll never really get the point. Peops are lazy, mate

Then again, don't worry about the karma thing. You might've pulled some dumb thing off to begin with, but lately people are only smiting you for the sake of smiting someone. The forums are like that..

I just think it's a shame how some people actually judge others by their karma, since the reason of people smiting eachother is really unexistant(word?).
