Only 30 minutes earlier? I think it should be at least 4 hours.

Hour of official Soldat 1.4 release is unknown, so 30 minutes it`s really too small time interval to make any difference. Most of people even won`t find when this 30 minutes bonus will be available.

Only 30 minutes earlier? I think it should be at least 4 hours.
I suggested this Torrent Way Time Bonus, but I thought about 1 day interval to make any visible difference for Soldat 1.4 mirror hosts (and motivate people to use Torrent). 30 minutes or even 1-3 hours it`s nothing in real. Everyone would like to wait this 30 minutes and simply download Soldat from (read as: /brutalkill by flood) webhosts with help of direct links.

Good strategy to have users use a torrent download.
And jeez, stop complaining people. He didn't have to have it be released 30 minutes earlier for torrent users. You guys should want to relieve stress of the servers providing 1.4.
For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

Heh, if I'm included in that, my post was not intended to complain. It is a good strategy to release stress from the server.

Hip Hip Hooray!!

I'm also from Australia and ask if there is any time difference since we are in AUS.
Another Question: Should i torrent? I DOES come out 30 mins earlier but does it take longer? Is it more complicated?

Yeah.

Just download a torrent client (I suggest utorrent. It is mainly preference, but I advise you to try it out.) and download the torrent file. It is always small. Open the torrent file using the client, and it will start downloading.

Just wait, it doesn't take much longer (if any longer) to download, depending on the number of seeds and peers.

The current version of soldat had a lot of bugs in it, but that's just what comes with a very enjoyable game. Hopefully, the next version will come with fewer bugs, let alone a new batch of bugs.

By far, soldat is much too enjoyable for hardcore players to care about the bugs.

Its about time. Sorry, I know you and the team worked hard on this, but it was a bad call on your part to announce 1.4 several months before release, and pretty much delay the community into a dead, "pointless" mood, where everyone didn't care to play anymore until the next version.

Good job regardless, can't wait.

You think he wanted to do that? Many, MANY things arose during that time which just kept delaying it constantly, going later and later off-schedule.

I wasn't bothered by the wait, but I have to admit I am excited to see what's changed.
