No sound?
« on: April 24, 2007, 10:46:19 pm »
The game won't play any sounds at all (except for the occasional idle chainsaw noise in a zombie server).

I've tried reinstalling.

Mind you, this only happens in multiplayer. In single player, the sound works fine.

It also happens on every server I play on. No sound.

Horrible for TW and R/S.
Don't say that you're Magic. Because you aren't, and I am.
All-around good with weapons that aren't long range, except in TW.
Now be careful out there, soldier.

That happens to me sometimes, the sound will just quit out and come back a few minutes later.

??? Weird, that never happend to me ??? (luckily)
I usually dont notice if it is, because i run music in the background. Maybe it has to do with your connection speed?

I do have DSL, it's Comcast. They're pretty fast.

However, the wireless networks really slow it down.

My ping isn't usually above 150, though.

Sound problems can never be caused by connection problems, it has got to be something wrong with your current drivers, try updating your sound drivers, you could also try lowering the sound quality.
