Where do you come up with 40m?
In-game meters, or real life meters?
If in-game meters how do you judge that?
Please enlighten me...

I just want to say, 40 real life meters? Can I have a slice of your monitor for scientific purposes?

The only thing I love about the M79 is when someone (M79 user) is camping at your spawn point and you spawn right next to him.  He kills you and he dies... Add a ceremonial "DAMNIT" and your done.

I don't know why because each weapon is equally as cheap and I use them both, but I don't mind getting killed by a barret. This may be because, as said before, it requires more skill.  As long as the M79 kill is long, I don't mind, because they dont just come up to you and BLAMMO, you're dead.  The M79 is like an underated knife.  From close up, no, it doesn't take skill.  But from far away it takes more than most other guns.

I'm less aggravated at Barrett users than m79 users, because the barrett actually does take a steady hand. The m79 reload time needs to be lengthened, or a delay, or something to make it more balanced.

Sir, I like your thinking. And with defending autos etc.

Maybe you could speak for me by using my account when i'm on holiday   ;D   (for the record, thats a joke  :P).

I usually get compliments for my m79 kills because i usually shoot them while we are both in the air and from pretty far away.

The way i see it, the "noobtube" is a lot easier to use than the Barret rifle. Hence the name "noobtube."

Noobtube - Moderate reload time, slow-med shot, faster fire interval than the barret (if i recall correctly), Cheap power, large bullet size, flat out annoying.

However...

Barret Rifle - Moderate reload time, very fast shot, slow shot interval, harder to hit the target due to smaller bullet.

I like walking around with an m79 then switching to saw and mowing down my opponant.
The m79 is for the boost back if I get a flag.
