Easy way to make m79 more fair. As the knife, LAW, and Barret (the only other instant kills in normal mode) all have it, make the m79 have the longer fire time, where you need to hold the button down to fire it.

It's called a delay. I believe there will be no delay added to it. Increase the reload time and decrease speed just a teeny bit, it'll be good.

I really can't NOT agree with Toma about this, I use  a Barret/Knife or Spas/knife or mp5/chainsaw and EVERY1 uses a M79 on all the server I go to. It's really very aggrovating because they have 30 kills I have 29 AND THE ONLY REASON they won is cause they all can 1 hit Kill me. M79 is a noobs powerhouse, that's why all the noobs use it, but there's still SOME m79 pros out there, but I dont know any really.

I mean i kill people with bullets and it seems every1 likes the easy kill they cant step up to the challenge of 1 on 1 grueling match with bullets spewing all over u but instead of that u get 10 progectile grendes all around u.

The problem is, people are annoyed when they are killed in one hit.  At least in a prolonged firefight, even if you're going to lose, you feel like you have a fighting chance.  You don't get that with instakill weapons.  I've seen people complain about being chainsawed, knifed, and barretted, even though all of those take a decent amount of skill on the attacker's part.  In a game of competition, people get frustrated when there is none.  I'm not saying we should remove these weapons; I'm just analyzing the psychology behind it .

Oh its not that bad. Iv never used m79 (I think the only gun I havent used alot of at one point sept spaz) But I know that anless you dont have space to fly there ez to own. Ok I hated it till I started usin barret agian. Ya cant really counter a m79 anless you can kill it pretty fast.

I use it, but yes it is retarded when you get hit and u die, then after shooting a guy 4 times in teh head and they dont die, u just wanna rip their head off

You've made an excellent point here. What can be more annoying than spawning in a game full of players and getting killed by m79 instantly. You haven't got much chance in that case, really, and it really pisses me (and others) off...
