Enesce: Just hope the idiots from the locked release date topic don't come flying over here, you'll have alot of reporting to do.

Great work catching the errors, by the way.

Great, I'll redownload.
Now EnEsCe, could you please explain how this works:
- Added gamestat.txt can be downloaded via the server file download port

I tried to download via HTTP but it didn't work.

that isn't what it means.
Awww it's a pitty.
Can we use it or download it somehow?

Cause I don't understand the purpose of announcing it as a new feature if it'll only be used internally by Soldat.

I'm having issues starting the server guys, I get this:

  • Compiling Script Core.pas...
  • Includes File not found: Core.pas

----------------------------------------------------------------
Shutting server...

I download the newest one, extract into its own brand new folder, and test it. Nothing. The scripts are in there though! What's up?

  • Compiling Script Core.pas...
  • Includes File not found: Core.pas

---------------------------------------------------------------
 Shutting server...

I fixed the problem by getting the version found here:
http://enesce.com/index.php?page=downloads&c=2

Odd, since I thought I downloaded that version from here from the start...

I couldnt fix it.
Im calling the soldatserver.exe on my program.
succeeded without fail old version, but fails without fail latest version.

I did a good discovery.
Soldat Server Scripting Engine disabled by parameter and I can normally start the server from my program.
but I think this problem ought to fix by Server Developer.

Enesce, is there still a limit on remote admin list?
I made a /admin script for people with dynamic IP (so I don't have to give them adminlog)

gnostiche:

Also, are you calling it from another directory (soldat/soldatserver) or are you inside the soldat folder and doing a "./soldatserver". The problem might of been calling the server from another folder.

Yes there is still 100 IP limit for remote admins.

And I have fixed the problem with paths, but you will have to wait for the next server version.

Non-public? You mean, nobody would be able to find out your server's IP? The answer to that is no.

well, you can, with ports forwarded in your router.

Anyway, Enesce, changed banned.txt means that now timed bans are available form command?

You can turn weapons on and off with that. For example: /weaponoff 1 would turn Desert Eagles off

Yeah I heard about it, I want do it but it's very difficult isn't it?
Well, it's not that difficult. It depends on your router. I reccommend searching google for a guide (there used to be a website with a huge router-database and how to do portforwarding, but i don't know the link now. ). Maybe check the Server Help forum.
