Why (WM) ?
« on: April 29, 2007, 04:58:01 am »
Just started a 2.6 server and I get a (WM) in front of server's name eventhough I didn't touch nothing. Any ideas why ?

Probably because Realistic counts as a WM, now, I think, because it has to switch to the Weapons_realistic.ini file.

I see 99% of the realistic servers with (WM) so you are maybe right.

I guess our GREAT beta testers don't play realistic so they didin't notice this bug.

We had realistic beta testers in the team, but most of them mysteriously vanished into thin air. :P

Yes, it appears that all realistic servers show up as WM since they don't use the same weapons.ini.

Here's something to test.  Does it still show up as WM if you copy weapons.ini to weapons_realistic.ini?

I know that is useless, but it will tell us a bit more about how it determines if a server is WM or not.

Our servers run alpha pre-release versions; while they are generally stable, they are not usually ready for general release.
