A topic where to solve and inform about the all new bugs.

1. After playing the intro I can play the music in the background (F5-F7) but it collidse with the Soldat Track from the intro demo.
2. I don't get my secondary after first respawn, sometimes I get a Socom (even if I din't chose it as my default)

i installed everything from scratch and i get worng map version error when joining my own dedicated server, maybe it's a dedicated server bug?

The weapon of last kill is not shown in the death console.

I installed the 1.4 patch
Everything's fine EXCEPT that I can't play online
I restarted my comp but it still won't work
Should I uninstall Soldat and install 1.4?

i hadn't actually, but now i tried that and it didnt make any difference. i also re downloaded the dedicated server cause it seemed to be different (the file size was different), but the problem is still there

I cant play! I installed it and I see that I'm not registred but I'm registred LEGALLY! I see access violation after opening the game on 1024x768 or another....

I have a simillary problem, when i want to refresh the server list, i got a "message sent... waiting for reply" and there's no reply xD Or I have to try again and again to finally try to join a server and get an error >_< I've joined only one server, the first time i tried. I've disabled my firewall but... it still make me sick :/

I threw my secondary and realised that it was soccom after getting onwed :/

Another thing, i've been banned of lots of server because "banned for possible cheat"... I've never ever used cheats... Man I cant believe all the bugs i've seen in the last 30 minutes i've beginned to play !!!

Maybe it's because of SSCC ?

I thing the 'Msg sent...waiting for a reply' is just a random thing. I get it a few times, I just click 'Cancel' go to the 'Start Game' menu, back to 'Join Game' and try again. Works for me.

Everytime start Soldat it shows the DM bot window but the TM/CTF/INF..etc is selected and when i press start game it starts the TM/CTF/INF..etc that's selected. I don't remember this being in 1.3.1.

OKay I got a new one I think. I finally got into the servers, (even though it has that error sometimes) But all the writing in the games is like flickering and moving and changing, it's really hard to read. And another one, When soldat starts is the menu windows supose to be small and in the corner of the screen?

Loving 1.4, im also experiencing several problems already posted. 2 bugs I noticed that havn't been fixed:

1. Dropping your current weapon whilst standing on another weapon results in you dropping your current weapon, picking up then dropping the weapon on the ground. This is really anoying when you need to switch with a weapon on the ground fast!

2. Fake health packs and grenade boxes. Somtimes these things are unable to be interacted with for no apparent reason, this hasn't been fixed and is also very annoying when you attack with the strategy to race to a health pack only to find it does nothing.

Any information on these 2 bugs would be greatly appreciated. Also I heard somthing about the crouch bug not being fixed either.
Another one (not such a big deal) just wondering why it happens. From what I read it sounded like the lobby was going to be better and bug free. But when I request servers, i might get say 60 servers. Then i request a second later and i get 90 servers. Shouldn't that be fairly constant?

I have 3 problems and there all really annoying/make that game impossible to play, I've found out why I'm having these problems, it is that 1.4 sucks.

This really sucks, I can't even play the game with all the writing flashing.  How could these glitches be missed.

1. cant request servers for a while
2. when i do finaly get the i get like error code 13 or something
3. when i use an outside source it just says "connection accepted" and doesnt let me in
4. when i try to get into a server again it has multiple errors and just shuts down.

OK. I got a bug for you guys. Whenever I'm in the start menu, or ANY menu (player, options, etc) a little pop-up window comes up and tells me that "Soldat cannot save settings." I have no idea what this means because I just downloaded the 1.4 patch this morning. It's REALLY ANNOYING. Help?

EDIT: I get what it means now. I can't save ANY profile information without leaving and it being deleted. I WANT 1.3.1 again!

wow this really got screwed up :/ not saying we dont appretiate all the hard work every1 put into this and the countless hours but. something is wrong. it may be something liek how u download it (maybe u cant use winrar to do it correctly) or some little thing taht got in there int the dl link. please notify us the problem so we who cant use it can!

I've noticed I only get the minimap to appear when at the lowest resolution at full screen. Any higher resolution or windowed mode produces nothing when I hit F2. Yes, I have experimented with the various config video settings.

Those of us who can are trying; be aware that due to timezone issues we can't be here all the time, nor can we dedicate our entire day to helping people.

I installed the patch and it changed all my profiles, Like changing name to AAAAAAAAAAA and screwing the controls so the normal wasd functions move to the arrow keys

Aight I got most of these errors perhaps something happened in packaging and something got screwed up but has anyone got this error yet:

If you have any idea what that is supposed to mean I would be glad to know. I suppose all beta testers and administrators are not here cause they are partying lol. I suppose they have there hands full with this great big mess they are trying to fix with all there might. So GO PEOPLE GO!

Also most servers have switched to 1.4 server so if you want 1.3.1 you will have to play by your self.

I registered just to tell you this.
I don't know if the problems have something to do with the patch 1.3.1-1.4, since I've barely had any problems. All I did was that I downloaded the full game, and didn't just upgrade from 1.3.1.
Only problem I've faced so far was that I'm having some kind of lag when I'm changing interleaves in the mainmenu.

1. I have had crouch flight bug twice today. I think I did back flip dodge before it. I do it a lot, bug happens rarely.

2. When i write Scandinavian letters ä and ö (ae and oe) in chat, they appear, but when i send it, they appear as question marks (?). Example: I press 't', write "ääkköset" (those characters appear as I write them), press enter, and it says "??kk?set". I have seen some writing those letters correctly. I use English mostly, so no problem.

Soldat 1.4 with Finnish language file.
WinXP SP2 (Finnish language in it too)

ok my problem is I cannot join/create a server. When I try to join it says "Connection Accepted to *IP#* but it never enters the server.
When i try to create a server i get an Access Violation message and soldat crashes. the Access Violation message says this 'Access Violation at address 0056DF6F in module 'SOLDAT.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF'
I have tried the helps listed for previous errors reported in this forum and they havent worked

when i host airpirates map i get a map error if i join the game, and seems like everyone gets the same error. any ideas?
