I love how they nerfed spraying and made the minigun's startup time much faster.

Yes, particularly the spraying change. This, the weapons pick-up ammo reset change, and the Battle Eye system are undoubtedly the best things about 1.4. I'd possibly add the supposed hit detection fix as well... if I could actually join a PvP server to test it out. I have seen a bot take four Ruger headshots before dying, so I'm not too confident about it at the moment.

I'm actually glad to see the intro back and running as well, though I'm not crazy about the music used.

I also like how the chainsaw is much bigger, and how the barret makes a noise before it fires.

No. The saw looks positively phallic now. It's just silly. The weapons have been Nerfed.

I think the maps look alot better and have alot more detail in them(example:Airpirates) Ive tried the new maps and they look really cool too

-Soldat Mod Starter : A very good add-on if you want to change mod fastly

It's almost exactly the same as the one mar77a made. Though I guess it's nice for people who don't want to mess around with the command line, though I'll keep my folder of Soldat mod shortcuts so I can differentiate between the folders which have mods and the ones which don't.
Thanks to my usage of mods, I notice no differences in graphics. Gotta love them mods!

I like the new font style. The shadows make it more legible.
I like the resolution change, though it makes my crappy computer lag if there are too many bullets onscreen at once.
I like the minimap, though it's a little distracting sometimes. It's useful in some cases, though.
I like the fact that you can see how people killed themselves.
I like the unicode support. Now everyone can feel the ♥ and I can say what ♪ music ♫ I'm listening to. ☻
I like the fixed Barrett typo. That alone is good enough for me.

I truly think that they nailed the realistic weapon balance.
If anyone has noticed, weapons and stuff blink a bit before they disappear, really cool.
The knife new throw speed is making me less and less frustrated while using the knife .
The chainsaw is absolutely sexy.

People are having a few issues with the network and stuff, maybe if people waited AT LEAST A WEEK before declaring this this worst version ever.

well as long as the gun locking glitch is gone, there's still that gostek glitch where your legs fold up and you become a hovercraft, but that rare, and usually really usefull for getting around haha.

server list is cool, except of time of refreshing it. more good things? well i like the smooth above throwed granades

the lobby list problems and speed problems are being addressed.  When it works properly, it is far faster than it used to be.
